Just a bug-fix version with minor improvements in handling output file names. Contains Lame version 3.96 with a small bug fix to be able to set the encoding quality.

Version 2.1 DOWNLOAD

Besides better buffer management, and some minor bug fixes, there is now a feature to generate automatic names for the output file, and output files are written in shared read mode. So it is possible to read and play the file while it is written.

Version 2.0 DOWNLOAD

Besides many small improvements, m3w is now equiped to run completely autonomous. There are Options to configure the startup of m3w, like automatic sending, we have automatic gain control and automatic reconnect after connection problems. In addition, m3w supports now all three types of login: xaudio, http and icy. This make it compatible with the new icecast 2 server.

Current Version 2.0 in French DOWNLOAD

The Texts of m3w are translated into French, an "Uninstall" link was added in the M3W program folder in the startup menu, and HTTP is now the default authentification process as it is the one used by Icecast2. Credits to Pierre-Emmanuel Muller, who did the translation, are given in the licence file and in the "About" box.
